I LOVE when I see girls active in sport. As someone who was active growing up, I can honestly say that sport was important to me in terms of building confidence, socializing with others, and helping me learn to work as a member of a team.
That’s why I love fully support a new event hosted by the Ottawa Senators.
This November 17th, the Ottawa Senators will host a “Women in Sport Day” to celebrate women of all ages competing and promoting active participation in sport. The Senators are encouraging women of all ages to attend the game featuring the Sens vs. Columbus Blue Jackets with their families to meet other teams and competitors, trade pins, and receive a great gift – a scarf – that can be personalized!
