Welcome to the site for hockey moms in Canada, by hockey moms in Canada.
If you have a child playing hockey, you are already an elite member of our club!
Did you ever stop to think how many hockey moms there are in Canada? We all know that hockey is Canada’s game. According to Hockey Canada, over 300,000 played minor hockey in 2009, with even more playing local recreation leagues, and more than that playing hockey on the local pond.
That’s a lot of families affected by hockey.
And that’s a lot of hockey knowledge that we can share.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be getting ready to roll out our first newsletter, and we’ll post an interview with one of Canada’s most prominent hockey moms. We’ll take your hockey questions, and we’ll dig up the answers. We’ll delve into the psyche of a superstar, and we’ll figure out how to make a stellar back yard rink. We’ll find out how hockey moms manage in the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto, and what hockey looks like in the far North.
And, in the process, we’ll build the largest community of moms in Canada.
