Martin Brodeur answers your questions!

This fall Canadian Hockey Moms has once again partnered with Goodyear to talk to you about the importance of good winter tires. I can get behind this partnership 100% because I have experienced firsthand the difference that winter tires can make on your winter drive (and my van has felt the effects of NOT having winter tires on when I should…but that’s another story).

I am also super pumped about working with Goodyear this year because so is one of my all-time favourite players — Martin Brodeur.

For those of you who don’t know, Martin Brodeur is one of the best goaltenders in history, having played his full NHL career spanning 21 years with the New Jersey Devils,  and having won two Olympic Gold medals for Canada, and three Stanley Cups with the Devils. He is also one of the few NHL players still playing that is older than me, which makes me like him just that much more.

A couple weeks ago I asked you to send in your questions for Martin, and send them you did! Over 100 questions came in, and from those we picked 11 that were the most common or informative. I’m thrilled to be able to show you Marty’s answers to those questions in PART 1 and PART 2 of the Goodyear Martin Brodeur videos. Check out his answers to questions like what is your favourite childhood hockey memory, what advice do you have for hockey parents, and have you ever been cut from a team. You might be surprised by some of his answers!

Special thank you to Martin Brodeur for being such a great sport when answering these questions for Hockey Moms and their kids. You should absolutely check out his fantastic website at http://www.martinbrodeur30.com/ and or his Facebook Page.

Be sure to join us on FB on Tuesday, November 19th at 7:00EST for your chance to talk to Goodyear experts and possibly win a set of four Goodyear winter tires, or passes for two to the ILR Winter Driving School! And to learn more about winter driving, check out the information HERE.

Until then, happy hockey!
