As Hockey Moms, it can feel that we spend half our lives on the road. Don’t get me wrong, it’s all worth it, and those car rides with our kids provide some of our most precious memories. But the number one comment I get from people without children in hockey is, “Wow, that’s a lot of driving”.
Yes. It is.
And that’s why I’m so excited to share with you an innovative new program being launched by RBC and Petro-Canada that could save Hockey Families, big time.
Starting on October 31, 2017, Canadians will be able to save 3¢ per litre on fuel every time they fill up. Think of the number of times you fill up in a season (or a weekend), and think of the money that could save your family.
All hockey families need to do is link their Petro-Points card to any RBC debit or credit card to instantly save 3¢ per litre on fuel each time gas is purchased. On top of that, you can also earn 20% more Petro-Points on purchases made at Petro-Canada. And, RBC Rewards credit card holders will also earn 20% more RBC Rewards points on their Petro-Canada purchases.
This program is easy to use. Hockey families will be able to use every linked RBC card in their wallet to save instantly on fuel and earn more rewards points. You just need to choose the RBC debit or credit cards that fits your needs, and link your Petro-Points card to your RBC profile once online. Then, pay with your RBC card at Petro-Canada gas stations, and instantly save 3¢ per litre fuel savings!
To get started, hockey families simply need to link their Petro-Points card to their RBC profile online once by visiting rbc.com/petro-canada , entering their online banking credentials, entering their Petro-Points card number, agreeing to the terms and conditions, and Voila! You will be linked! It will only take a couple days to process and you will be up and running.
Once your Petro-Points card is linked with your RBC profile, hockey families can use any RBC payment card to receive instant fuel savings and earn more points through Petro-Points and RBC Rewards. This program is super innovative and super easy to use– the same card does it all, every day.
So if you do a lot of driving (I suspect you do) and you want to save some money this hockey season, this is one program you should consider!📷
